Swordsmanship

Benimaru is a highly skilled swordsman, who can hold his own in a duel or a group battle. Being named by Rimuru and his constant training with Hakurou to improve his sword skills has caused him to grow exponentially, eventually far surpassing his master. He is also capable of infusing his flames into his sword, giving it a massive power-up. Benimaru uses two forms of swordplay:

• Sword of Motion ｢動の太刀, dō no tachi｣: Form that focusing on offense to attack the opponent without giving the initiative and win overwhelmingly in one fell swoop.
• Sword of Stillness ｢静の太刀, shizuka no tachi｣: Form that yields the first move to the opponent and focus on counterattacks. It combines both offense and defense emphasizing on parrying and not actively attacking.
